The following is a listing of individuals who were published in the Pennsylvania Archives Series that had ties to Ross County, Ohio. 

Continental Line. The German Regiment. July 12, 1776-January 1, 1781.

• Clifton, Thomas, died in Ross county Ohio September 30, 1832 aged eighty-seven
• Harding, Richard (e), August, 1778. Capt. Stake's company; died in Ross county, Ohio, October 15, 1828, aged sixty-seven.

The New Eleventh, Lieut. Col. Adam Hurley, Jr., Commandant. January 13, 1779-January 17, 1781.

• Conden, Redmond, twenty-two; five feet four inches; farmer; Ireland; May 17, 1777; died in Ross county, Ohio, January 8, 1880, aged eighty-one.

Provost Guard. Von Heer's Light Dragoons. June 1, 1778-November 3, 1783.

• Thum, Peter, August 1, 1778; Resided in Ross County Ohio 1834

Fifth Pennsylvania Regiment-1781.

• McMahon, John, died in Ross County, Ohio 1784 aged Ninety-four.
