13th Ohio Volunteer Infantry - Regimental History

This regiment was organized at Camp Dennison, Ohio, from 12-26 June 1861 to serve three years. The original members (except veterans) were mustered out 26 Jun 1864 by reason of expiration of term of service; the organization, composed of veterans and recruits, was retained in the service until 05 Dec 1865, when it was mustered out in accordance with orders from the War Department.
